Certain desert plants only bloom after summer rains. We will search for these plants in the desert backcountry on this 4-wheel drive only dry-camping field trip. Exact destination will be decided depending on where are the best blooms; given that it is only a two-night trip, we will try to keep driving time to a minimum. Plan on leaving early on Thursday morning to arrive in the desert by 10am. Trip is limited to 7 vehicles. Email Steve at
