MWD will rent exhibit space at four Southern California home and garden shows to provide information and distribution of promotional items related to the irrigation calculator.

MWD has devoted resources to develop an advertising campaign, and to purchase radio spots, print ads, television promotions and billboards to promote outdoor water use conservation.
Other water conservation incentives provided by MWD will include: high efficiency clothes washer rebates, and marketing of pre-rinse spray valves, water pressurized brooms, hospital x-ray machine recirculation and centralized irrigation controller systems.
MWD is currently seeking applicants to sponsor in their Community Partnering Program.

The UCR Friends of the Entomology Research Museum (FERM) is a campus organization dedicated to supporting the mission of the Entomology Research Museum. FERM has quarterly general meetings of its members and also sponsors a Museum open house every Thursday evening in which FERM members and the general public may come to work on entomology projects, get specimens identified by experts, and socialize in the context of entomology in general. Annual membership in FERM is $10 and the money is used to support FERM projects, such as purchase of supplies and equipment for the Museum and small research grants to students. Members are entitled to annual subscription of the newsletter and participation in FERM-sponsored field trips, meetings, and other programs. For further information, contact
